Google launches Blog Search tool...
Google Blog SearchInteresting to see Google join the fray with their own Blog Search tool.    Competition for Technorati and IceRocket from the biggest search engine. A few quick sample searches definitely showed that as you might expect from Google, it is fast!  I'll have to make some time to do some comparative searches... but that time is not today...

Google and the Minimalistic what you see, get search page

Its interesting how pages compare. If you look at google's blogsearch page, it pretty much follows a functional and techno approach to less is more. You pretty much see a single thing and you know what to do. Other pages have more "content". If the sites are graded on reliability and performance and ability, great. But google also has the minimalistic site content thing down. No need for cute little figures or GIFs. Just give us a place to insert a search criteria.

That being said, for my small position on the reverse edge of the tail of the known blogaverse, its gonna be fun timee to simply sit and watch the battle ensue.

Mike,

Indeed, the battle is going to be fun. You just know that Yahoo and MSN will be jumping in with something specific to blogs, too. It will certainly be fun to watch... and we should get some good tools out of all of this!
