Starting VON with a bang - Lawrence Lessig: "Will the network be unlocked or relocked?"
Wow! VON started with a tremendous presentation by Lawrence Lessig... I hadn't heard him speak before and now understand why some in the academic circles call him a "rock star"... fantastic speaker. The message again is where do you want the competition? At the network edge with applications and content - or in the core, where competition is effectively reduced to a few. "less control means more innovation".

Fantastic presenter... excellent manner of presentation (his slides - I'll write more on this later)... all around excellent presentation! Kudos to the Pulver team for bringing him in to speak.
