By way of our local newspaper, we were recently introduced to Etsy, an eBay-esque site for people wanting to sell handmade goods. Well, more like a storefront than eBay because it's not really about auctions but about buying. Being someone who very occasionally turns some wood pens on a lathe, and more being married to an artist who does all sorts of different things, it looks like quite an interesting site to explore, both as a consumer and fan of hand-made products and also potentially some year (distant, at the current time) as a seller...
